First we take a ride cruising to floating village (fish farm) and Cham minority village for visiting a weaving workshop of the colourful traditional wears (Sarong and towels).
Back to Chau Doc for a visit to Chua Xu Lady' s temple and Cave pagoda at the foot of Sam mountain.
The next destination will be Cam mountain- the highest mountain in Mekong delta. On the way there, you can enjoy sightseeing the two rice fields along the road, or drop by for a short visit to a small Khmer village. Your mind will be cleaned by sightseeing nothing from the empty of the rice field and the sky! You will have a short walk up on the mountain side to see the daily life of mountain people.
Have lunch on the way.
Tuc Dup (the two million dollar hill) is a bold strewn hill deep in the Mekong delta where between late 1968 and early 1969 against overwhelming odds. The defenders kept the full force of the American army at bay for 128 days of continuous bombardment, two million is said to be the cost of the firepower the American used in their vain attempt to capture this isolated stronghold.
Explore freely around hidden caves interconnected by a labyrinth of natural tunnels and paths, under ground meeting rooms, hospital, living quarters, stores and command H.Q. (most fully restored).
Back for Sam mountain to admire the grand view of Mekong Delta from the top of Sam mountain and the sunset on Cambodia side. End the tour at Chau Doc.
