*Lunch Details: Pick you up at hotel in saigon and go to Caibe 2.5 hrs The visitor on board of the Discovery ship at Cai Be tourist quay will be welcomed with flowers, fresh cotton towels, and fresh coconut.
The cruise will start by visiting the Cai Be floating market where the visitor will have a real chance to see the original business trade on the water. Will it make you dizzy to see hundred of boats appearing in the eyesight? Stops will be made as required for free goods changing – according to the traditional local style - or for photos.
The local pop rice, coconut candy, and rice paper making workshopwill be the next stop. The visitor will not only see how it’s made, but he will be able to try on processing and taste them warm and fresh. The service of tea and local traditional jams sitting by the windy river bank should enjoy and relax the visitor.
The cruise will go on by crossing peacefully the Mekong River to An Binh Island. The disappearing banks, the legend of the river, and the fresh air will be unforgettable for the tourist.
The boat will stop at the ancient house of Mr. Cai Cuong, the only one on the island which shows clearly the construction and the interior decorating of the landlords’ house in the past. We will see the farming tool display, the rice processing line and learn the family story on just a glance after which the rural folk musical art will be performed by the local people. We will stop at one of these settings: orchards, bonsai, or nursery garden.
The boat trip will end at Vinh Long tourist quay after a visit to the pottery and brick making workshop. During the cruise, cold and hot beverages (hot tea, mineral water) and exotic seasonal fruits will be served on board free of charge.
