*Lunch Details: Pick up at hotel in saigon and transfer to caibe. Relax and enjoy rice fields, local farm...on the way to the mekong delta. The visitor on board of the Discovery ship at the Cai Be tourist quay will be welcomed with flowers, fresh cotton towels, and fresh coconut.
The cruise will start by boating on the legendary Co Chien River. Then we will stop at the pottery and brick making workshop to learn how to make the brick and pottery from the local clay as light and red.
We will boat on the river to visit the fish raff farming. The cruise will continue to a Mekong River’s island remained unknown to many people with countless crisscross canals and arroyos. The visitor will feel the fresh air in the evergreen orchards and the friendliness of the local people. Next we will stop at the ancient house of Mr. Cai Cường– the only one on the island which shows clearly the construction and the interior decorating of the Vietnamese traditional house in the past. There the rural folk musical art will be performed by the local people. We will stop at one of these settings: orchards, bonsai, or nursery garden. The lunch, prepared by the local people according to the Mekong Delta taste and styles will be served to the visitor regarded as a member of the family. The boat trip will end at Vinh Long tourist quay. During the cruise,cold and hot beverages (hot tea, mineral water) and exotic seasonal fruits will be served on board free of charge.
