The tour is designed in strange land, it is in the other side of Hàm Luông river.(Minh island) You have chance to discover local historic site – live proofs in VN war and a big handy workshop area 2 km long located along river. Riding on path you will have nice pictures and experience different aspects of life in Mekong delta. ITINERARY: Pick up : 8:00 AM Boat on mekong river On arrival in Hùng vương Pier (Bến Tre town). Take a boat to Hàm Luông river (Mekong river). Boat around business ship where most of local products are selling here (coconut fiber, string, nut). Witness busy trading and hand loading chains by man on boat.Have a look activities on waterway as: fish trap, strawling net, basket net. Go down stream to Nước Trong estuary. Biking 15km on road Stop at Thanh Thủy pier. Riding on shady road to Đồng khởi Museum in Định Thủy village (the first place local people upprised against Saigon regime in VN war). Lunch at Mỏ Cày. Continue biking along river. Visit several large handy workshops spreading along riverside (about 2 km) producing products from cococonut.( nut, fiber, oil). Bus pick up at Chợ Thom and drive back HCM city- On the way to Sai gon, we will stop at coconut candy workshop and learn how to make candy from coconut.
